PCB layout design

Tracy Gill:

Having worked in the PCB design sector since 1991, Tracy started out with 10 years under his belt at a leading professional audio company called Klark Teknik. Famous for the Midas, DDA & KT brands, initially as a test engineer, within a year he had elevated to R&D as a PCB layout designer.

Previously to this he had a background in Electrical domestic & industrial installation which held him in good stead later on for hands on electronics & with that a natural progression to PCB layout.

Since 2000 Tracy has been a self employed PCB contractor travelling across the UK, designing a wide variety of complex boards & being involved with some very recognisable companies like Astec Europe, Malvern Instruments, Raymarine, Remec Airtech, Tyco Electronics, Ultra Electronics & XTA Electronics. With this he has helped design products for British Telecom, Telfonica Spain, MoD & BAE systems, Nokia & Motorola to name but a few.
